HI ! My name is Cris , but early on in my tattoo career everyone in the shop I worked at began calling me “Sammy” . It’s a long story and if you get tattooed by me feel free to ask about it . Anywho , I have tattooed under the name “Sammy Hayden” for the last 15 years and have met alot of really cool folks along this journey so far. I enjoy doing all types of tattooing , but if you were to ask me “What do you “enjoy” doing?” I would reply with a simple answer. Cool tattoos on Cool people . If I’m allowed creative freedom with a piece I enjoy doing all styles of tattoos.

I have tattooed and been tattooed all over the US and have found myself recently calling Kansas City , MO home. I tattoo at Studio One Tattoos on Grand Blvd , in Downtown Kansas City. I am available everyday but Sunday and Monday for tattoos and consultations .

Please feel free to use the “Tattoo Me” link above to reach out , or give me a call at the shop during normal hours.

I look forward to working with you on your next tattoo !

Designs and Changes to Designs -

I typically like to work with a little freedom to create the best piece that my client and I can be super stoked on. This involves giving a bit of trust and creative freedom with EVERY design that I take on. Please understand I want the project to look good much as you . This means its my job to steer you in the right direction. Some tattoos require this. Others are much more straight forward in design and application. If you provide a design and the design is given the OK , or if I provide you a sketch in advance of your tattoo , minor changes are ok. However , major changes to the design may require rescheduling your appointment . I will not usually provide a design or sketch more than 24 hours before an appointment . Adding additional elements or moving elements around is considered a major change. Please understand this is so we have a design we are happy with and I also have a stencil that I am confident with. My grandfather always said “Fail to Plan , Plan to Fail.” .

I want to make the process of getting your next tattoo as smooth as possible and following these steps and guidelines ensure that I am able to do that.
